Franklin, Tennessee Speed Traps
Fieldstone Pkwy, just off Cottonwood Ln.
There’s a parking area next to a power station. He hides in there. They lay of the land makes it tricky to spot him. It’s a 30 here but I’ve never seen him with anyone pulled over. Possibly because the speed limit is about appropriate here.

Cool Springs Blvd East near Avalon subdivision
Just west (250 yards) of the Avalon sub-division – Police often sit in the middle of the road or by the power generator? plant – which is back up off the road. 40 mph limit which people often exceed. At night the Police in the middle of the median turn space could actually cause an accident. I see the Police about 50% of the time I drive that area. Then after going through the roundabout by the fire station their is a 3 way stop sign – Police heavily patrol this so make sure you stop.
Sneed Road/inbetween Hillsboro and Vaughn Rd
Cop car waiting behind giant bush near Laurel Brooke Subdivision. Usually is there on late hours on weekends. Could be watching for drunk driving also.
Fieldstone Parkway just south of Cotton Road
The cop sits in the utility road that is located off a large common area. The white fence along Fieldstone Parkway makes it impossible to see the cop car parked there, and the speed limit is 30 MPH. I live in this area and have seen hundred’s of cars pulled over in this spot. Editorial comment: Franklin has way too many cops.
Freckling Farms Subdivision (Fantoni Ct, McCulley Dr)
This is actually outside of the Franklin city limits, but traffic unit officers will use their 1-mile jurisdiction extension to write tickets in this subdivision. The motorcycle sergeant usually hides behind the 2HotCop billboard with a radar gun and gets anyone going over the 25 mph limit.
