Bronx, New York Speed Traps
WB Randall Ave @ Cross BX EXPY EXT
This is a school zone camera. No matter whether school is in session or not, the camera will flash your license plates and send you a $50 ticket. I went to visit the cemetery over there twice and on was ticketed at 29 and then 37 a year later. Beware. They don’t hesitate from sending you the tickets and you can’t fight it. BE CAREFUL!!!!
Eastbound Cross Bronx Expressway Extension at Lafayette Ave
The city speed limit is 25 MPH on this section of road that runs parallel to the Interstate 295 on the Cross Bound Expressway Extension road between Lafayette Ave and Randall before you get onto the on ramp . Frequently used frontage road by WAZE when the 295 traffic is backed up. There is a small sign that says photo enforced and 25 MPH speed limit.
Got a mail in $50 buck ticket from School Zone Camera Unit of the New York City Department of Finance going 38 in a 25 posted speed zone.
