17 Mile Rd East drops from 45 mph to 35 mph after crossing Van Dyke. There are cops hanging out in several locations: in the Rite Aid (formerly Farmer Jacks) parking lot, in the center lane facing west, and on the bridge just east of Van Dyke. It’s right near my house and I see people pulled over all the time, day or night. And they certainly use laser, as it was the first time I was able to "test" my radar detector for laser. I drove by a few times just for the novelty of the new sound.
