Shelby Parkway near Between 23 Mile Rd. & 24 Mile Rd.
Police sit in side streets and also off road next to the woods. Favorite places are after to curves so they cannot be spotted. Often the police will have two cars spaced apart and will radio adhead.

I don't believe this is near Shelby, MI, on the west side of the state. I have lived in this area for 38 years and these roads are not anywhere near here.
I pass this way daily. The speed limit is artificially low (it is 50 MPH through the residential area just north of 24 Mile on Jewel, then turns to 35 MPH on Shelby Parkway. While I have rarely seen the police pull someone over, that may be because we locals know it is a favorite place for the police to park.
