FM 523 @ CR543 (Downing)
State troopers are frequently setting up at the curve of CR 543 South Downing just before the stop sign at FM 523. he is sitting back in the driveway that leads to the cow pasture. He sets up atleast once a week and only does in in the dark so you can’t see him at the end of the road.

I live on this road and have seen cars going 65-75 mph and the speed limit is 45mph. I can't tell you how much I appreciate knowing they are there working this and trying to keep us all safe from the idiots that think the speed limit is for everyone but them. Thank you DPS!
They finally closed this road off where CR220 is being built through. No more speeders!!
