I695 Exit 44 to Broening Hwy
Coming across the Key Bridge (Toll) Exit 44 from 695 to Broening Hwy. At the bottom of the exit ramp is a stop sign on a very deserted road. Very few come to a complete stop since the road is not used much at this end. Maryland Transportation Police have taken to hiding behind the bushes (some time 3 at a time) to hand out tickets for running the stop sign. Their method is to let you go until you pass under the 695 bridge before pulling you over. This way the next unsuspecting driver can not see your car pulled over and the next officer can get the next car. I drove on to the access road to count the number of cars being pulled over here on Sunday March 14, 2010. Even though it was raining, in just over 3 hours (11:15 AM to 2:45 PM) 2 officers pulled over and ticketed 14 cars. This has become a sweet spot for MTP in the past 2 months.
