The speed trap near Pasco WA just north over the cable bridge is somewhat deceptive because the double lane road would appear to be a higher speed limit area than the 60 listed. It appears to be heavily patrolled, as the deceptive nature of that section of road causes most drivers to maintain speed, rather than cutting back, and this seems to be an easy source of local revenue. (I was not personally pulled over, and this note is provided as a curtesy to others.) If for some engineering reason 60mph is chosen, then there should be more speed limit signs. By the way, one of the few votes for the view that this is not a speed trap was mine, as I mistakenly pressed that response.
