Exiting State Route 53 to east bound Dundee there will be a stop light (Wilke Road) just before a hotel on the south side of Dundee Rd. If you see a big construction zone arrow and activity that from this distance looks like a water main broke or other repair going on turn immediately on to Wilke, left or right depending on which lane you’re in. It’s a check point ahead on Dundee. They force drivers into a business parking lot for the usual papers checks and fishing. If you turn right take Wilke south to Shure Drive and then back north on Kennicott to return to Dundee on the other side of the checkpoint. If you turn north you can turn around in a parking lot to head south or you can go all the way north to Nichols to then head east to Arlington heights road. A slow trip on residential streets.
