As an ex-NYPD "real cop" it amazes me how our own "so called" police force actually gangs up on taxpaying citizens to go out of their way to trap you and grab you for the smallest offense, while on either side of the four corners they lay in waiting, drugs are dealt openly, panhandlers aggressively beset on people buying gas at two corner gas stations, people are accosted in the parking lots of Walgreens and Albertson's and attempts to bring these morons over to at least get their identification and either chase them or "run them" for warrants is futile. Their answers to me when I suggested they actually do their jobs as "so called" police officers is: "We were told to issue citations unless a serious crime occurs.....try calling the non-emergency Metro number"...... Why would I go through twenty minutes of waiting when I had a "so called" cop right in front of me live and in color????? The worst police department I have ever seen. Their priorities are all fouled up with a department top heavy in "brass" and all political.
