Rt. 40, from Rt. 3 to the Groton Line
Pretty much this entire stretch is constantly patrolled and seems to be a major revenue producer for the town. Speed traps can be in any commercial driveway or anywhere the cruiser can pull enough off on the side of the road to lay in wait. Near the intersection of Rt. 40 and Tyngsboro Rd./Depot St. is a good place to find one pulled off to the side.
Fortunately, nearly every cruiser in Westford has its radar on constantly, so even the most basic radar detector will find them. Just your eyes and ears open (and keep it down around 40 mph) and you’ll hopefully escape harassment.
