Near the underpass there is a very long strech of staight road, they sit in pairs behind a low block wall, the limit is 35, most people go 50 or more. they are there regularly even 7:00 am on weekends you can’t see them until it is way too late, don,t even chance it.

So, because "most people go 50 or more" in a 35 MPH zone, you're complaining that tickets are regularly being written? When will you, and most of the other people who complain on this website, grow up? When will you all realize what idiots you are to complain when you get a ticket for exceeding the speed limit OR for running a red light??? Slow down and drive within the law, you might be surprised at how much your insurance rates will go down, as well as your blood pressure.

If everyone slowed down to the speed limit, officer, then you'd be out of a job. I love how Johnny Law gets PO'ed at this site, when you claim "its all about safety". If folks slow down when driving thru your speed traps isnt that a good thing, since you guys claim its about "safety and all"???? Lets be truthfull for once officer, just admit, its all about the $$$!

Nothing to "admit". I appreciate your misguided designation of myself as "Johnny Law". My previous comments are not based on fear of being out of a job. I've been retired for several years and am constantly appalled at how inconsiderate other drivers are much of the time. Yes, "If folks slow down when driving thru [your] speed traps..." is a good thing. I just don't understand why those same folks can't stay within the speed limit all the time.

Speaking of growing up former officer, maybe you should heed that advice and tell the truth, and admit its all about the revenue and not ALL about the safety? People would respect your former profession more if they/you quit the "its not about the revenue, it all about the safety" BS. Stop it, no one is buying it! PS. I bet you claim you've never sped before either. LOL.

Oh, and former officer if its "all about the safety, and slowing things down", why do police departments feel necessary to use unmarked cars/SUV's/motorcycles and "hide' behind objects in order to catch speeders? Wouldn't you want to be visible as possible to get people to slow down in that particular area? hmmmmmmmmmm............unless it IS all about the revenue!?!?!?!?!?!?

Hey revenue collections officer, if you are pissed about the bad pub you are getting at this website, then quit writing bogus tickets. It really IS that simple!
