Occasionally will see a trooper sitting in the median on west side of the river crossing. Driving east to west, it is hard to see this squad car until you are on it and it is too late. Aldrich is a very small town. Speed limit is 65 approaching town and drops to 50 just before and stays there for only about a 1/3 of a mile. If going westbound, that squad car can see you if you are over in the lowered speed zone. Also, as you approach town from the east, the cop will be at that bridge which is over a small hill, that’s why you will not see him till its too late.
