County police will set up on the east side of Folly Quarter Road – their position somewhat hidden by swells in the road – typically shooting north to catch motorists coming down the long incline – but, occasionally shooting south, as well. Traveling south on Folly Quarter from Rt 144, the speed limit begins at 45, but drops to 35 prior to Carroll Mill Road – and, that speed is difficult to maintain on the incline without careful attention.
