Dean St. runs parallels Route 47 for several blocks in olt-town Huntley & is a popular bypass for drivers to avoid traffic/stoplight backups at Rte 47/Main St. It has a 25 mph speed limit past Huntley Cemetery & adjacent Donahue Woods area. Radar cars often sit back on cemetery access lanes on the north side of Dean St, on Martin Dr. (SE border of cemetery), or near the Dean milk plant lot where they watch for Dean St. speeders and "rolling stops" at the Dean/Mill St. intersection.
