College ave between Montezuma Rd and El Cajon Blvd
College avenue north of el cajon blvd, san diego is a HUGE speed trap. The speed limit drops from 35 to 25 south of Montezuma rd. by the senior center. A motorcycle cop with radar is there every day of the year and writes 20 tickets per day. $300-$500 ticket.

Not only is there a senior center, but also several places of worship, as well. This is a heavily-travelled venue for SDSU students- both on bicycles and in cars- commuting to and from school and between the campus and the rolando/college/el cerrito business districts on el cajon blvd. There are NO alternate bike paths. A lot of young people who aren't as experienced behind the wheel or handlebars as we. Please give them (as well as the local seniors) a brake and observe the local speed limits. Just north of the area you have described is what's known as 'fraternity row'- more young people out and about, and more reasons to slow down. IMHO, the speed limit should be 25mph all the way from el cajon blvd. to the SDSU campus.
