There’s a speed trap in this area quite often because it’s a great money maker – cop hides behind a tree at the bottom of a hill shooting radar for his cohorts who line up down one of the residential side streets waiting for their victims. Of course they’ll set up in an area that’s no where near any posted speed limit signs, and they LOVE the hills because the casual driver (who may not have been speeding) will unintentionally speed up just in time to help them meet their quota.
