Hwy 31 inside town limits and Cleveland Ave.
There are four uniformed policeman and two auxiliary police, one of which carries a weapon for a population of around 600 residents. One can not drive through the town without seeing a traffic stop in progress. There is always someone on patrol, even during the night time hours. Tickets are given for five miles over the limit of 40 miles per hour. The cop will be sitting by the Dollar General Store most often in between two blind spots on the road in a residential yard. Supposedly locals are given 15 miles over the limit but this has been seen to be subjective.
