The State Trooper Sub-Station is located right there – near the corner of Ayers Road and U.S. 41 – they are always coming and going. Speed limit drops within a .5 of a mile from 65 to 50 to 45 to 35. Not only does it drop – the road goes from a 3 land highway to a residential two lane road for about .5 of a mile and then right back up to 65. If you are traveling along you would not notice, especially if you are trying to get around the Sunday Driver that lives there doing 25 miles an hour and this area is filled with old farmers and ranchers. So be careful speeding up to go around them. I know at least 5 people including myself that have been nailed here – since they moved the substation from St. Road 52 to here.
