5 South at Del Mar Heights Rd
A CHP patrol car will sit at the top of the ramp at Del Mar Heights Rd watching for speeding vehicles on 5 Southbound. I have not detected any radar from these units. The officer will occasionally move further south and hide behind the retaining wall just before the southbound 56 bypass lanes appear. Usually spotted during morning commute hours.
