Hwy 12 / Kettleman Lane near Mills Avenue
Lodi is notorious for pegging motorists coming into town, and leaving town, between the city and Interstate 5 to the west. Multiple LE units will park at the side of the road with laser, looking for a pack of cars traveling above the posted limit (35mph). The street is 8 lanes across, and the posted 35mph seems far too low.
They usually pick off the last vehicle in a pack of vehicles moving at speeds above the posted limit – which seems to be Lodi PD’s M.O.

Kettleman Lane through Lodi is a State Highway and is governed by state law, which states " at no time may you leaglely exceed the speed limit". Don't speed, you won't get a ticket ,first in line or last in line !
