This may or may not be for speeding, but usually 1 out of 5 times I take this route there is a CHP car (same officer everytime sitting on the I-15 Southbound onramp from Hwy 56. He sits there in the morning on the shoulder of the on ramp, right at the top by the metered red lights. He waits for on ramp car pool lane violations, as well as tickets people for rolling through the light, like me. You cannot see him sitting there as you approach, all of the other cars backed up in the right on ramp lane block him from view. So if you plan on running the light or violating the car pool lane for this on ramp beware. He is there a lot!
