On the Allen side of the bridge the speed limit is 55mph and right after the bridge in the Plano city limits the speed limit changes to 40mph. Plano Police setup on the first street after the bridge to catch offenders that are driving 55mph in their 40mph zone. Enforcement is usually during morning rush hour and weekends.
