The Ed K Collett city park between Hulen and Horne streets is a popular spot for mid-day speed trap activity. The park is near a speed zone change (40 becomes 35) and perpetual construction zone (your water funds at work) and it is not uncommon to see a police car waiting behind a tree in the park. During lunch time there are many vehicles from the nearby business and rail yard not obeying the traffic laws but if you obey the speed you won’t get unfairly targeted.
