West Vickery Boulevard near Hulen Road

Fort Worth, TexasJun 29, 20071 Comments

West Vickery Blvd between Hulen Rd and Bryant Irvin Rd varies from 35 mph to 45 mph. Going west in the morning, you will be going 45 to 50 mph as you approach a short downhill section in front of the park. By the time you reach the bottom of the hill, you will be in excess of the 35 mph of the section. Anything over 40 mph and he will ticket you.

Going east on the same road, you will be approaching the downhill section coming around a right hand bend and will likely miss the 40 mph posted speed limit sign.

Comments:
This area has changed dramatically since the last post 4 years ago. A new toll road is being constructed along West Vickery and Hulen which will be a major interchange, Hulen Normally a 4 lane lane road is down to one lane in each direction. Drivers are directed to keep speed down and with the amount of heavy traffic that is no problem, Vickery which travels under Hulen has been reduced to 2 lanes as well. This traffic monster maker won't be finished until late 4th quarter 2012.
