If you are heading south on SouthSide Blvd during the Lunch hour, occaisionally, of course when you least expect, a Lazer trap is set up by JSO. This will typically involve one Officer with the lazer on a tri-pod, and 3 to 4 extra Police vehicle ready for active pursuit. The speed limit is 45. Generally you won’t be pulled over if only 10 miles an hour over, but be prepared to stop if you are hit for anything over this. If you are speeding at the very moment the J. T. Butler overpass comes into view, you have already been had, they are set up just around the bend just past the overpass, right where they can see you but you can see them, then as you go under the over pass, you view of the police cars becomes obviously waaaaaaaay to late!!
