11th Avenue
Mt. Dora PD (especially motorcycle police) hide near an orange grove on 11th Ave. near the top of the hill at all times of day and night and if motorists are speeding”in excess of the posted 25 mph they are ticketed. This is a difficult area to maintain a 25 mph speed since it is hilly and motorists must ride their brakes to maintain this low speed.
