Roosevelt Road (Hwy 38) westbound from the Tri-State Tollway to Hwy 83 is a favorite dusk, night, and weekend trap for the Oak Brook Terrace police. The police car is at the exit to Butterfield Road and very difficult to see until you are right on it. The speed limit is 55 but traffic almost always is moving faster. Speed traps are much more common in the last half of the month (probably for revenue and/or quota reasons).

Going eastbound on Roosevelt Road, there is sometimes a police car sitting behind the columns of the Hwy 83 overpass. But the westbount trap is much, much more common.
