U.S. Highway 24 through Cass County from the Miami County line on the East to the State Road 25 overpass to the west. This highway has recently been opened as a 4 lane rural highway. There are occasional crossing county roads that the state uses to justify a 55 mph limit. The real problem is the crossing traffic, which doesn’t bother to look either way before crossing. These are locals with influence; remember you don’t have any. I have seen at least one traffic stop each of the last 12 times I traversed this stretch of road in a span of time back to Sept. 1.
