Hello Everyone, I can't believe this speed trap still exists at this location. 16 years ago late at night I was pulled over at this exact location and given a speeding ticket. It is very sneaky the way the police hide right at the spot when the Km/h drops from 80Km/h to 50Km/h You basically have to slam on your brakes in order to drop from 80Km/h to 50Km/h in time and especially when one is not familiar to the area. And you can't see the police car as it hides up against a wire fence when you are traveling east along Mud Road.

And another thing I forgot to share with everyone in my previous comment. As soon as I saw the change in speed I slowed right down to 50Km/h and yet I was still given a speeding ticket. One would think that there must be more important and life threatening situations going on in this world then to trap a driver because he was not driving exactly 50Km/h as he passed over the line. It's unfortunate there are no police officers driving the highways in order to catch people driving 40Km/h over the limit while swerving in and out of lanes with no signals. I swear, these drivers must think they are driving the Indie 400!! Pretty sad I must say.
