Eglington East Avenue near Leslie Street
On Eglington Avenue East, just past the Leslie Street intersection, there is a speed trap in the westbound direction at least 3-4 times a week. They sit at the bottom of a hill behind a bridge. So as you increase your speed by default going down hill (not a residential zone either – it’s a 3 lane roadway) they nail you way in advance. Once you get to the bottom, they have 5-7 officers waiting for you. Yes, they actually devote between 3-7 cars for this, 3-4 times a week, maybe more. It seems that every time I am on that road, about 50% of the time, they are there. Talk about cash grab!
