McDougall Avenue near Railway crossing at back of Jackson Park

Windsor, OntarioOct 10, 20081 Comments

The unmarked police car is usually parked in the lot behind the learning center at the back of Jackson( Queen Elizabeth) Park. Just past the stadium, before the back baseball diamond. The speed limitdrops to 40 kilometers when you are on McDougal from the railroad tracks up to Tecumseh Rd heading North on McDougal towards downtown, . They are usually there in the mornings on your way to work and at 3:30 – 5 pm on your way home from work, due to Kennedy High School at Tecumseh and McDougal.

Comments:
Also be careful AT THE TRACKS themselves - the Railway Police sit on the tracks (far enough back that it's hard to see until you are right on the tracks) and nail you there. North of the tracks it's 40km/h, South of the tracks it's 50km/h - resist the temptation to speed up early if you're going south on McDougall! If you're going North, slow down at the tracks! This happens a lot at rush hour after work.
