Cody, directly east of Yellowstone National Park, is a hotbed of traffic enforcement. Cody is a tourist town, so the limits are set unreasonably low, and enforcement is rampant. Ka-band radar (moving radar) seems to be what most of the local Cody police are using.

There are usually only a few officers on duty at a time. It is rare to see a traffic stop. Speed is 35 on major routes and 30 in others. Only area its 25 is one main street in the business dist.
