Alleghany Avenue near Madison Avenue
When traveling on Madison Ave.(which to some is Rte. 220 North)you come down a hill…locally know as Town Hill….the speed limit is 25. Coming down the hill is is very hard to mantain this speed. When you get to the bottom of the hill, it runs into Alleghany Ave. On the right there is a home improvement store and the police like to park at it and get you coming off of the hill. There is a lot of traffic here as it leads to The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA and there a lot of tractor trailors heading to the local paper mill.

The area is a very small parking lot (very dark, no lights) next to a old building (vacant) at this time @ S. Alleghany Ave (220) & S. Highland Ave. Is the postion of the police car So between the S. Holly St to S. Highland. This a very big speed trap in both directions (you come down hill both ways) so stay 35. One cop will ticket you going 36MPH so becareful.
