Interstate 26 west near between exits 28 and 31, which are Okalona and University Parkway.
As you travel on I-26 W, (aka 181) just as you enter Washington County between exits 28 and 31, there is a white mustang that is apparently there 24 hours a day, and if you speed, HE WILL, I repeat, HE WILL GET YOU…everytime. I know, he’s got me 3 times and just about every friend of mine at least once. It’s not that we’re dumb or driving unsafely. This is the sneakiest speed trap I have ever seen. The speed limit changes stealthily from 65 to 55 eventhough the highway still remains straight, rural, and without traffic. It looks as if you’re still in the country, but you have just entered the city limits. So if you are going 70 in the 65, and just happen to not see the 55 sign as soon as you pass exit 28,you might as well just count on contribuiting to Johnson City’s budget.
