Ridge Pike Road near Belvoir Road
Plymouth Twp police local trap on Westbound direction, that is, heading into Norristown from I-476/Conshohocken area.
Speed limit is 35 or 40 on Ridge Pike but drops to 25 immediately west (past) Belvoir Road as you cross over the railroad and turnpike bridges. That is also the start of a downhill incline so you kinda naturally pick up some speed anyway. The VASCAR lines are in front of the Armen Auto Dealer.
That Belvoir Road intersection is a T where Belvoir intersects from the right. A self-storage business and an auto repair business are on the opposite corners of Belvoir.
Have seen them sitting in the driveway of the Armen Auto Dealer – mostly hidden by shrubs – and in the lot next to the gas station slightly ahead near the intersection of Fairfield Road. (the old fruit/vegetable vendor business)
The Plymouth Twp/Norristown Boro line is further down Ridge Pike near the sports bar and Shell gas station, so there is plenty of Twp area left to hunt you down, especially considering there is a traffic signal at the intersection of Conshohocken State Road. And it is easy to follow you up Fairfield Road if you’re turning toward the Black Horse Tavern.
Have also seen them on Ridge Pike east of Belvoir as you are passing the many auto dealer lots. That is, between I-476 and Belvoir Road.
There, they sit in the driveway of an auto lot, blending in quite well, even if using marked police units. The flow of speed along this part of Ridge Pike is often in excess of the limit.
