Every member of our family has been caught in this trap. In my case, the deed was done by a photocop sitting in front of the speed sign. On that particular day, I happened to be driving my wife to the clinic.

This is a major speed trap!! Photo radar van can be either side of the road coming into Milwaukee from either direction. I was heading south on McLoughlin and the speed drops from 40 to 30 and the photo radar van was sitting there. It was at night and I didn't see the speed sign and there was a flash and then several flashes after me with the cars behind me. Got the $280 ticket in the mail a week later for 12mph over. Be careful driving through Milwaukee!!

They have actually changed the speed change from 45mph to 30mph in that spot, so it became an even more speed trap.

A significant trap! Milwaukee has done a nice job of re-establishing its downtown's association with the Willamette River and a riverfront park. The trap is just north of this area of high pedestrian activity and lots of entering and exiting vehicles. Help us maintain safe city speed limits and keep YOUR $$ out of the city's treasury! Watch for the speed limit change and avoid the trap just past it.
