State Route 199 Market Street near State Route 9G
Red Hook Village Police trap mostly college kids (from Bard College) coming into the Village or travelling through it on 199 (E and W Market Street). An ideal spot for the white marked Police SUV is at Ludlow St near a corner doctor’s office. Do NOT travel 1 mph over 30 in this village – this is a revenue generator. When I was in court responding to a ticket, there were at least 7 college students for speeding or stop sign violations.
