Promenade Boulevard near State Route 27

South Brunswick, New JerseySep 25, 20072 Comments

Cop sits in center median or turning lane along Promenade Blvd. They trap in both directions, but more commonly they trap speeders traveling toward Rte. 27. During morning rush hour, there may be two cars — one unmarked.

YES! The cops frequently use this road to farm tickets! I hate them so much!!!! Live right off of this road, so I know not to speed. However, ONE time I had the stomach flu and had to go to the bathroom really bad, so I drove about 50 to my house. Of course some cop stopped me. I was like, listen, I have to go. He was like I understand blah blah blah...yeah, okay. Next thing I know I get the ticket in the mail. I even showed up to the courthouse with a doctor's note saying confirming that I was not lying. Nope, still had to pay this bogus ticket. Oh and they really like to do it when it's drizzling or something, so they can write "dangerous driving conditions" on there, too. That's what happened with my ticket. It was not even fully raining!!! Please, go stop people who are actually committing real crimes and endangering people not lone cars on an empty open road at midnight!

Oh and not just median. They hide in the development turn-off. I've seen them hide in the bushes even! Like the guy got out of the car and was standing behind the bush. So ridiculous!
