Police will observe your license plate and if a frame is around it and covering Any of the verbage, that is their excuse to run your plate and pull you over. Hey the law is the law that informaton on the plate is not to be covered.

I was in the Quick Check that is on this road. There were 3 cop cars in the parking lot. I had to fill the tires in a hand cart that was laying in my back seat/trunk (the back seat was down). I popped the trunk to fill the tires, but realized it was easier to use the back door. I forgot I popped the trunk (this was about midnight on moving day) I left the parking lot and turned toward the bank, realized the trunk was popped open. I pulled into the empty bank parking lot to close my trunk. I didn't park in a space because it was midnight and I was going to be about 3 seconds. One of the cops had followed me and "pulled me over" (is it still called that if you were already parked?" They held me there for about 20 minutes running my plates and DL before finding nothing to charge me with and letting me go. Be very carful on this road.
