This section of the Garden State Parkway is notorious for police traps. There is an exit southbound for Rt. 3 – Lincoln Tunnel and it is a leftlane exit. There is also a high volume of traffic heading towards this exit, and it is a great place for the state police to sit and hide in the median (grassy area). This is also true for northbound traffic — as when he sits in the middle of the highway, he can monitor both ways – or, at various times, there are 2 state police cars in the median and they’re both shooting radar out. One is monitoring southbound traffic, one is monitoring northbound traffic. NOTORIOUS SPEED TRAP!
