Interstate 20 near Mile Marker 126-132
I-20 (both E & W bound) between exit 132 and exit 126 (I-459) has a posted speed limit of 60 MPH but the landscape is rural and the tendancy is to go normal Interstate speed of 70+. The limit drops from 70 to 60 just past the I-459 exit but is typically ignored by Westbound I-20 drivers – of couse the local constabulary and the Ala State Troopers are always there to guide and direct the wayward drivers. Roebuck Parkway
Please be careful in the Roebuck area around Roebuck Parkway. Troopers are constantly posted up in the Food Giant parking lot and also in the Chuck E. Chesse parking lot. Have seen as many as 7 different cars pulled over in this area in a days time. Also, be really careful about wearing your seatbelts in this area. I personally have been stopped 3 times due to suspicion of not wearing a seat belt.
