Daleville, Alabama Speed Traps
State Highway Hwy 134 near Price Street
Heading west on hwy 134 a unit is usually parked behind a sign that is on hwy 134 and Price st. A police car can’t be seen until you pass by the Forrest Hill baptist church. The speed limit is 45mph going downhill.
Tank Hill Road near Old Hwy 134 W Road
Heading west on Old Highway 134 there is a 4-way stop sign at the intersection of Tank Hill Road. If you take a left onto Tank Hill Road you will come to Hwy 84. The small stretch of Tank Hill Road from the 4-way stop to Hwy 84 is posted 30 KPH. I don’t believe they will even give you 10 MPH. Over 35 will get you a citation and they will be watching for you.
State Highway 85 near State Highway 84
While exiting the Daleville gate on Fort Rucker, the officer said he clocked me at 50 in a 30. 30 Miles per hour is completely unrealistic for the 2-3 mile stretch on the main road through Daleville. A speed limit of 40 mph is much more realistic. Daleville is well known locally in the Enterprise, AL as a speed trap. Don’t press your luck, citations are a major source of revenue for them. I would love to boycott their businesses but they really don’t have many.
US Highway 84
84 is a speed death trap. Me and my friend have both gotten speeding tickets on this road, you’ll mostly find state troopers in between Enterprise and Dothan. However it gets worse around the Daleville area. You can easily get away with doing 70 and MAYBE 75. However anything above that and they’re on you like white on rice.
HWY85
Going northbound on 85 from HWY84, the Speedlimit is 35, then changes to 30 before you get to Ft Rucker. City Police radar this area HEAVILY. If they don’t have someone stopped on the side of the road, they’re buying coffee/donuts at the Coffee stand next to the school.
