Dothan, Alabama Speed Traps

The officers sit behind the burn barrel and clock the vehicle north bound on Flowers Ln. They can not be seen til it’s to late. I do not believe that this is fair.

Beginning at Ross Clark Circls and extending along U.S. Hwy. No. 231 South to Dothan’s Southmost City Limits, especially on weekends and especially if you are a young college student from out of state, headed to the Florida beaches, Dothan’s city police department will look for ANY REASON whatsoever to stop you so they can search your vehicle, give you a ticket, and if you are under age, take any alcohol which may be in your car.

Dothan’s finest are usually scatered about on U.S. 431. They are especially bad during Spring Break and summer months.
