On the other side of the hill in front of Jacks family restuarant, Hokes Bluff PD will sit in the middle of the median. They see you well before you see them!

US Highway 278 near Albert Rains Boulevard
Hokes Bluff police and Etowah County sherriffs officers routinely sit within a quarter mile of this intersection in all directions. Speed limit drops to 45, and is strictly enforced. The main set up is usually at Godfrey’s Exxon, which is right on the corner of the intersection. People travelling westbound are more prone to be caught, since the speed changes almost without warning (the sign in directly in front of the Exxon).
