Macintosh, Alabama Speed Traps

This isn’t much of a town, and looking around I’d gather speeding ticket revenue is the primary source of public funding. As you come into Macintosh heading south watch out! The speed limit suddenly drops from 65 to 45 mph. The problem is, the local police will place a radar-equipped car right there and nail you before you have a chance to even begin slowing down. And, if you were going 10 miles an hour above the posted 65 (the troopers normally leave you alone for that) the Macintosh cops will attempt to nail you for reckless driving. I know. It happened to me.
