The speed limit drops very quickly from the highway speed as you enter the "town of Maytown". From the appearance, you would never know it is a town. The next town down the road, Sylvan does the same thing.
The "town" police rigidly enforce the 45 mph limit on this highway for the time you pass through the small "towns".
