Moundville, Alabama Speed Traps

The Town Police force covers from one end of their jurisdiction to the other. They sit in the medians with their lights off, on the side of the road and use roadblocks on the main Hwy 69 and all side roads. Do the speed limit if you don’t want to meet them personally!

This is a very small town that makes most of it’s revenue by ticketing out-of-town drivers. Officers love to sit at the speed change sign (45 mph). Very srictly enforced and if you try to talk your way out of the ticket the price goes higher.
