The Orange Beach Police are very strict on speeding over 45 MPH. This trap starts 2 miles west of the Florabama and goes over the bridge into the city. Most of the time we see a patrol car on the west side of the bridge but often on both sides.
Perdido Beach Blvd & Parkway Rd
On a Sunday morning during the height of off season, there were pulling cars over one after another around the fishing area of the Alabama Pass. Never in the 5 days there did I see a single pull over or set up to pull over speeders in any other area of Orange Beach. Like I said before, why at the only hill (man made hill at that) are speeders being pulled over? There is miles of beach and I will admit the speed limit is justified on Beach Blvd. And Sunday morning? Lower than low on traffic volume. Just why the hill? No one can tell me that is a dangerous area (compared to any other area in the area). Stop speeders; not on the hill.
