Union Springs, Alabama Speed Traps

Posted speed is 55 and I wouldn’t go faster unless I had cars in front & back doing the same. The nearby one horse town of Union Springs is economically depressed & it seems they’ve taken to writing more tickets to fill the city’s coffers. Watch the area of 110 just north of highway 82. I’ve been told by others that they are ticketing on 82 a fair amount also. I try to route my business trips away from this area, & if I am forced to travel on these roads I never stop to buy anything. Gas is typically 10 cents cheaper in neighboring Montgomery.
