They hide between the trees and park their vehicles around the corner. It is very hard to see them until it is too late. They setup here as it transitions from 60km/h to 50km/h.

East or Westbound on 16th Ave. Cruiser tucks in between pillars of either 36th or 52nd street N.E. overpasseses. Posted 90kmh. Other than rush hours, easy to do 100-110kmh. Because that stretch of road is long and flat, they see you before you see them.
